Elise Coleman is an undergraduate junior psychology major at the University of Northern Iowa from Belle Plaine, IA. She joined the McNair Scholars Program to receive substantial support and opportunities for networking as well as invaluable knowledge about the graduate school process. Elise's research interests include the study of parental alienation as a complete form of emotional trauma. As well as areas of importance within family law. After graduation Elise plans to seek a P.h.D. in Psychology with a focus on child development and family matters. In her free time Elise is an advocate and editor with the Fathers Rights Movement and apart of UNI's Honors Program.
